The Port Macquarie office of our mortgage broking business commenced in 2001 (initially trading as the North Coast office of Lawfund), and has grown steadily since, as the right people have joined us. We are now one of the leading North Coast Mortgage Brokers, with 3 experienced, honest and professional Mortgage Brokers plus several experienced support staff.
Our office is situated in the Peachtree Walk Arcade in Port Macquarie, North Coast NSW and is open weekdays from 8.00 am to 5.00 pm. Our Lending Managers are available on their mobiles during and outside of these timeframes, generally 24/7, and service the area from Forster Tuncurry and Taree to Port Macquarie and Coffs Harbour, and out to Tamworth and Armidale. We have over 1,000 satisfied clients right across Australia, and over 75% of these have rated our service as excellent (surveys since May 2004).

Our members, whose clients we also service, include most of the major accounting firms, solicitors, real estate agents and builders in the Hastings area. We specialise in financing residential & commercial real estate purchases as well as refinances or debt consolidations.
We have the benefit of being part of a large aggregator, but the luxury of being able to operate an independent office.

Joined the business at the outset as the Port Macquarie Mortgage Broker, after 20 years with Westpac. The last 12 years were in various personal and business lending roles in the Sydney CBD and Port Macquarie, with the last 6 years as the Business Banking Manager at Port Macquarie.
John has a Bachelor of Business (majoring in Banking & Finance) and an Accounting Certificate. He is a Full Member and an Accredited Mortgage Consultant with the MFAA and a Senior Associate with the Financial Services Institute of Australasia.

Joined the business in 2004, after 17 years with Westpac. The last 10 years comprised various personal and business lending roles in the Central Coast, Newcastle and North Coast areas, the last 4 years as the Home Finance Manager at Port Macquarie and Tweed Heads.
Donna has a Graduate Certificate of Corporate Management, a Certificate in Financial Services issued by the Securities Institute, and is a Full Member and an Accredited Mortgage Consultant with the MFAA

Joined the business in 2008, having been a mortgage broker since 1999, initially with Wizard in Sydney for 3 years and then with a leading accounting firm in Port Macquarie for 5 years. In the latter role, he looked after the varied needs of over 1,500 clients, which involved residential & investment loans as well as commercial finance, being finance for property development & construction, hotels, motels & caravan parks as well as motor vehicles, plant & equipment.

Joined the business in 2007, after 14 years in the finance industry. This comprised 7 years with Westpac and 7 years with several large and small credit unions, in the Sydney CBD and Central Coast area as a Lending Manager. After a short break for family reaons, Rebecca joined Professional Finance as a Lending Manager.
